![]() However his Moon is in Aries.which is Square my Moon. I'd say for friendship having Sun/Moon is great.but at the end of the day for two people to TRULY connect you need Moon-Moon in order to truly feel at home and see each other as more than just something to feed your ego (close ties to Moon-Moon would be Moon-angles or something similar).Īn example is I have a VERY close conjunction of my Moon to a Cap Sun (the Conjunction is less than one degree). Plus I think the biggie as I have seen in others that can pretty much knock out Sun/Moon is Asc/Moon or Moon-Moon. In fact I happen to think (and have seen in MANY cases where Moon sign connections are ALMOST always needed irregardless of Sun/Moon). ![]() I COMPLETELY agree that this aspect is actually highly touted but not really so great in terms of romance.this aspect I have seen works its best in friendships. You must face, touch and feel the dregs of Nessus before you can grasp the pristine beauty of Neptune. Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man. This would be true of whatever relationship had this-friend etcĪ romantic connection would be from other aspects such as Pluto. I think Sun/Moon will give you an emotional connection, a heart connection. Also angle rulers to angle rulers and ties from the nodes to angles. I think you need to look to the natal to see what someone is looking for in a relationship before jumping to seeing if they hit certain synastry "check points" which may not hold much weight on a personal level in the end! What I'm finding lately is contacts to angles and angle rulers (especially by planets that rule an angle in the other chart) are great indicators of a deep, potentially long lasting relationship. I've had this aspect with people and despite getting along GREAT, was not romantically interested in them in the least! It's a wonderful aspect to experience but I don't think it guarantees or even signifies a relationship being long lasting. I think the Sun/Moon thing is one of those exalted myths of astrology that got touted up to where the point is kind of mute. but they got engaged after dating for 1 month and got married one month after that and they've been together for almost 23 years now. I find sun/moon connections as lovers reading each other's minds. What do you think would be "needed" to counteract a lack of good Sun and Moon connections? And all synastry books and sites always talk about how important this is. ![]() I know that you need to look at the entire chart etc, but in every long term relationship I've seen, it's been at least one or two good aspects, or at least that person A has their Sun or Moon in compatible sign with the other Sun or Moon. Have you come across couples in happy, long term relationships that don't have any nice Sun and Moon aspects (or at least in compatible signs) at all? ![]() Topic: Sun and Moon connections in synastry This topic has been transferred to this forum: Interpersonal Astrology.
